Community-driven interventions that build long-term resilience.

MHO delivers holistic support that addresses immediate needs while building lasting resilience — from mentorship and skills training to safe spaces, nutrition and cultural cohesion.

Program 01

Community Prevention & Advocacy

Mentorship for at-risk girls and single mothers, community dialogues to prevent abuse and exploitation, parenting education sessions, and cultural festivals promoting cohesion and heritage.

Program 02

Economic Empowerment for Vulnerable Women

Skills training in food processing, urban farming and banana fibre eco-products. Formation of cooperatives and savings groups, micro-enterprise support and market access facilitation.

Program 03

Girl Protection & Rehabilitation

Temporary safe spaces for rescued girls, outreach and individualised case management, trauma-informed counselling, family reintegration support and school assistance.

Program 04

Nutrition & Food Heritage

Community food kitchens serving nutritious meals, indigenous seed gardens to promote food sovereignty, nutrition education for mothers and caregivers, and diet diversification initiatives.

Kampala Metropolitan Area — expanding nationwide.

Our primary focus is Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono. We collaborate with trusted local institutions to identify vulnerable women and girls, ensuring dignity, respect and safety at every step.
